With the main house and beach casita, our luxury villas in Costa Rica can comfortably accommodate eight couples and their kids. Between the main house, beach casita, and courtyard cabina, Cas de Luz has eight bedrooms that can sleep up to 24 guests with our cots if need be. We can even book extra rooms at the 5-star B&B next door, or book the entire B&B to sleep up to 40+ guests! This careful arrangement of accommodations makes our villas ideal for large gatherings like weddings, family reunions, and group retreats.

The Nature: We respect nature at Case de Luz and it’s evidenced in how we operate. Our impact on the environment has been carefully considered from how we do our laundry and clean our pool to solar power to dimmed lighting for the sea turtles that lay eggs on the shore. How do we do this? We installed the first “ozone” water system in the province of Guanacaste. This unique system allows us to reduce laundry chemicals reaching our septic system by 50 percent while sanitizing hundreds of times better, eliminating the need for hot water and bleach. This system also gives us the least polluting pool on the coast, reducing chemical use by over 90 percent while sanitizing up to 3,000 times better.

One of our guests’ favorite features has got to be our dedicated house mom, Zaida, who is available six days a week to serve cocktails, prepare breakfast and snacks, and do daily housekeeping – even laundry! There is also the option to hire a private chef to prepare the rest of your meals in style.
The Extras: It’s not a true Costa Rica luxury vacation without all the extras!
