The Art Of Luz…Can Be Yours!
Most of the beautiful original art at Casa de Luz was created by local artist Marilu “Malu” Leao, and is available for purchase!
Typical prices range between $1500-$3000 for the larger original artworks; less for smaller paintings and ceramics/objects d’art.
If there is a piece of art you love here, simply take a photo with the guest iPhone, text it to Malu’s assistant Karol at 6373-9942 with your name and destination address if you need shipping, and she will respond with the price, plus shipping and handling cost/info. Ask our concierge for help if you are in a rush or don’t hear back.
You are buying the art directly from the artist, and we know that if she takes something from our walls to sell to you, she will make something else just as nice to put back up there for us! She can also do commissioned artworks to your specifications; just ask.
Most paintings ship rolled-up, because the cost for you to frame it back home is less than making a custom crate and shipping it framed from here. If you want to take art home with you “now”, Malu can put a temporary work in its place for our next guests and change it later if we like something else better.
We think hosting a virtual art gallery like this is a good way to support an outstanding local artist while providing an exclusive private viewing experience for you in a town without many galleries.
